  32. Having briefly tried Messenger, I feel that its manual needs greatly
  33. updating and expanding before it should be included in Acornet.  There are
  34. features which are anything but intutitive and aren't explained in the
  35. manual and I only found after much fiddling around.  There are other things
  36. which are simple in TTFN, but which I was unable to do in Messenger -
  37. whether because they are not possible, or because I couldn't find them I
  38. don't know.

  40. When I have a few hours to spare I will give it a good try out, and post a
  41. full list of queries / problems to the Messenger mailing list.  However I
  42. believe that anything which is included in Acornet, and therefore intended
  43. for a new inexperienced user should be either completely intutitive or
  44. properly documented in its manual.  Messenger MAY be a better newsreader, I
  45. haven't yet formed an opinion, but it is certainly neither completely
  46. intutitive or properly documented in its manual at present.
